Annual General Assembly - May 31st, 2009
On Sunday May 31st, Music / Musique NB will be having it’s 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Moncton at their office at 108 High street. The meeting will start at 11am. Download the agenda here.
Please RSVP and let us know if you’ll be attending.

Here are some of the things we will be addressing at the AGM:

• New board members: we are currently looking for new board members and volunteers. Please contact us if you are interested!
• There are a couple of bi-law changes we’ll be voting on. You can download them here.
• New membership renewal date: As of 2009, membership renewal will be due on June 1st. Any members having paid their membership after June 1st 2008 are automatically members until June 2010.
• Strategic planning for 2009-2012

MNB supports the development of a self-sustaining New Brunswick music industry.

Here are some tangible things MNB offers to it’s membership:

• Giving added value to a MNB membership card through discounts and coupons
• Offering high quality workshops and showcasing opportunities on a regular basis across the province in both official languages
• A profile of you or your band on our web site
• Access to our public forum where you can advertise your press releases and events
• Receive our monthly newsletter on what’s going on in the music industry in the province.
• Access to our resource centre and staff for up to date info on funding and industry opportunities
• Members can vote and speak during AGM meetings
